Choirs

Infants

Junior Choir (directed by Miss Stoker and Mrs Williamson)

The Junior Choir is open to any interested students in Years 1 and 2. These students rehearse one lunchtime per week in Terms 2 and 3 and perform at the school Cultural Concert in Term 3.

Primary

We have three primary choirs for Years 3-6. These students are auditioned at the start of Term 1. Students rehearse one lunchtime per week all year long. The primary choirs are each split into Alto and Soprano and students learn a range of repertoire in unison and two-part harmony. 

The primary choirs perform at:

  • ​Anzac Day Assembly
  • Stewart House Presentation Day
  • Cultural Concert
  • Spring Fair
  • Schools Spectacular
  • Presentation Day Assemblies
  • Freshwater Carols and Warringah Mall Carols

 

Primary Proms Choir (directed by Miss Dalgleish, assisted by Ms Montgomery)

A number of students (selected by audition) also participate in the Primary Proms Choral Festival at Sydney Town Hall.

 

Arts Alive Choir (directed by Miss Dalgleish, assisted by Ms Telfer)

A number of students (selected by audition) also participate in the Arts Alive Choral Festival at Sydney Opera House.

 

Festival Choir (directed by Miss Dalgleish, assisted by Mrs Berry)

A number of students (selected by audition) also participate in the Festival of Choral Music at Sydney Opera House.
