Our school has strong historical connections with the local community and local businesses as well as strong parental involvement. We have a student population of over 920 and our core values are respect, responsibility and personal best. We are a school that applies the elements of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). Our academic, cultural and sporting programs engage students in a wide range of quality learning experiences. Our goals
Our goals are for students to engage with their learning, that every student is known, valued and cared for, and to provide all students with a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy. The school encourages students to be constructive, self–regulated learners who are confident and creative individuals, with the personal resources for future success and wellbeing.
Harbord Public School is situated in the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is located in Freshwater. We place a strong emphasis on extending student literacy and numeracy performance and we have a proud history of achievements in sport and the creative arts. The school has excellent modern facilities with a new building housing 500 students opened in 2017, and large grounds.
